Firmin Fontaine is an instrumentation technician at the Torrential Erosion, Snow and Avalanche research unit of IRSTEA. In collaboration with researchers, his job is to design, install and improve measuring solutions both in laboratory and on the field. In the SAUSSURE project, he will bring his support for experimental measurement campaigns with a focus on tracer measurements for glacier hydrographic network comprehension.
