Emmanuel Thibert is a senior scientist in glaciology and research engineer at ETNA research unit (Irstea). He is mainly interested in the processes that control glacier melt and the runoff of meltwater in Alpine glaciers. He is mostly a field investigator, experienced in automatic weather stations, mass balance measurements and computations, dye tracing. In the SAUSSURE project, he will work on melt computations, the runoff of meltwater and dye tracing experiments. He is leading WP1.
